The rootstock is characterized by high vigor and provides an optimal balance between vegetative and generative development of the grafted plant. Its use is aimed at increasing the overall vitality and productivity of vegetable crops.

The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV 0–2), Fusarium wilt (Fol 0, 1), Fusarium crown and root rot (For), Verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), and Corky root rot (Pl). Intermediate resistance (IR) is also noted to root-knot nematodes Meloidogyne arenaria, M. incognita, and M. javanica.
