The variety is the result of a controlled cross between the northern highbush blueberry 'Brigitta' and the southern highbush blueberry 'Ridley 1403'. In technical documentation, the variety is also designated as MG11543-23-004.

The plant has an upright growth habit. The berries are medium to large in size, characterized by a crisp flesh and a small dry picking scar; the fruit taste is distinguished by low to moderate sweetness. The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group and possesses high cold tolerance.
