Beautensia Caroussel variety has full flowers with a diameter of about 5–5.5 cm, gathered in hemispherical inflorescences. The flower color varies from pink to dark blue depending on the soil acidity level.

The plant is positioned as an ornamental crop for cultivation in containers or open field. There is confusion with the Hydrangea paniculata variety named Carousel, which is a different species.
