Variety description

The bush is compact and dense, reaching a height of 90–160 cm in open field and 40–60 cm when grown in containers. The leaves are large, dark green with a bronze-brown or purple sheen; the foliage of young shoots is purple, and in autumn it may acquire dark red tones.
Inflorescences are corymbose, large, in the red-violet range. Flowering occurs from July to September or October, primarily on the previous year's shoots. The variety is thermophilic, demanding in terms of soil moisture and fertility, corresponds to hardiness zone 5–6, and requires winter protection.
