The plant has large ovate or elliptical leaves 10–20 cm long, dark green in color with a serrated margin. The variety is remontant, flowering abundantly and for a long period in summer.

Belongs to USDA hardiness zone 6; when grown in zone 5, flower bud protection is required. Used in single and group plantings, borders, container culture, and for cut flowers.
