Variety description

The shrub is characterized by compact, densely branched, and vigorous growth, reaching a height of 1.0 to 1.5 m. The leaves are simple, ovate, bright green or dark green in color, often with a glossy surface and serrated edges.

The inflorescences are spherical or slightly flattened, with a diameter of 15 to 30 cm. The flowers change shade from pink or crimson in neutral soils to purple or blue in acidic soils rich in aluminum. Flowering occurs from June to September.

The plant has moderate winter hardiness with a threshold of about -18°C and requires winter protection to preserve the flower buds, which form on the previous year's shoots. It is used for solitary and group plantings, border design, and container cultivation.
