Variety description

Compact deciduous shrub with a rounded crown and sturdy upright shoots, reaching a height of 0.6 to 1.6 m. Leaves are large, dark green, broadly ovate, serrated and opposite.

Inflorescences up to 25 cm in diameter undergo metamorphosis: at the beginning of flowering they have a corymbose shape, gradually becoming denser and spherical. The color changes from pale pink (bluish on acidic soils) to green, and towards the end of the season to cherry-red or dark crimson.

The variety is remontant, blooming on shoots of the previous and current year. It possesses resistance to diseases and pests; winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 6. Inflorescences are resistant to precipitation, suitable for cutting and dry bouquets; the plant is suitable for landscape design and container cultivation.
