Variety description

The variety is a natural mutation of Hydrangea macrophylla 'Xian'. The plant is a compact, upright, and branched shrub reaching a height of 100 to 150 cm. The shoots are characterized by their thickness and strength.
The flowering period lasts from July to September. The hemispherical inflorescences change color throughout the season: from pale green to coral-pink with purple edges, ending the cycle with a greenish hue and a white border. The intensity of the color may depend on the soil pH level.
The plant is winter-hardy and prefers partially shaded areas with access to morning or evening sun. The variety is relatively undemanding regarding soil acidity.
