The shrub reaches about 1 meter in height and width, possesses erect, weakly branched shoots and elliptical dark green leaves. The inflorescences, 15–20 cm in diameter, consist of sterile flowers and change shade during the flowering process from aquamarine to pinkish-peach and brick-red.

The plant flowers from July to September, maintaining its ornamental quality until late autumn. Frost resistance corresponds to zone 6b (down to -20°C). The variety requires wind-protected areas, fertile moist soils, and planting in partial shade or shade.
