Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub 90–120 cm in height. The inflorescences are of the lacecap type: fertile flowers are located in the center, and larger sterile ones along the edges. When opening, the flower color is white-pink, later darkening to deep pink; depending on soil pH, bluish shades may appear. An important feature of the variety is the almost black stems that contrast with the foliage and flowers.

Flowering occurs in summer on last year's shoots, so pruning should be carried out only after the end of the flowering period. The variety is winter-hardy in USDA zones 5–9 and requires well-drained, moist soil. The plant is used in landscape design, container gardening, and for cut flowers.
