Variety description

The plant reaches 1.5 m in height and width. Foliage is dark green, glossy, ovate with serrated edges. Mophead-type inflorescences have a diameter of 15–20 cm.

Flowering is early, lasting from mid-summer to autumn. The variety is capable of forming inflorescences on lateral buds if terminal buds are damaged. Shoots are sturdy, suitable for cutting. Inflorescences are also suitable for drying.

USDA hardiness zone 6a–9b. Prefers moist, well-drained soils and locations protected from wind. Requires covering in regions with severe winters.
