Variety description

The plant is a dwarf shrub, reaching a height of about 1 meter by 10 years of age. The inflorescences are of the mophead type. The color of the flowers strongly depends on the soil acidity and the presence of aluminum in it: in acidic soils, they acquire a saturated dark purple or purple-red hue, and in calcareous ones, they become reddish.

The variety blooms from July to September. The plant is characterized as winter-hardy, prefers fertile, constantly moist soils and semi-shaded or shaded areas. Maintenance involves minimal pruning, including the removal of old stems and faded inflorescences in the spring.
