Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub with upright stems, reaching 90 cm in height and up to 120 cm in width. The leaves have a dark green, glossy shade that appears almost black when they emerge.
The mophead-type inflorescences are colored a bright red-purple, which changes to a deep wine-red shade with possible greenish tones as they age. Color intensity depends on soil pH levels and the presence of aluminum.
The variety is remontant and capable of blooming on both previous and current year's shoots. The shrub is winter hardy (zones 5–9), stable in cultivation, handles cutting well, and is suitable for landscape design or container cultivation.
