Variety description

The plant forms an upright spreading shrub 120–150 cm in height and 80–120 cm in width. The leaves are dense, egg-shaped, saturated green in color, and may acquire a purple hue in autumn.

The inflorescences, 20–30 cm in diameter, consist of flowers with fringed edges. As they fade or towards the end of the season, a pinkish hue may appear on the petals. The variety is moisture-loving, requires winter covering in temperate climates, and is suitable for solitary planting, container cultivation, and cutting.
