Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 100 to 150 cm, sometimes up to 175 cm, with a crown width of about 100–120 cm. The plant has a dense form and deep green ovate leaves.

Flowering lasts from June or July through September. Towards the end of the season, a pinkish tint or spotting may appear on the petals. The variety is suitable for solitary and group plantings, hedges, container cultivation, and cut flowers.

The plant prefers partial shade, moist, humus-rich, and nutritious soils. The variety possesses good winter hardiness for its species, although young shoots require protection from late spring frosts.
