The variety is mentioned in historical trade lists and plant catalogs of the first half of the 20th century, including the 1923 publication Standardized plant names. The variety was intended for ornamental gardening, cultivation in open field or in containers.
In old catalogs, the variety was described as "very satisfactory"; however, detailed data on plant height, disease resistance, and other morphological traits are not recorded in modern reference books. Due to the lack of distribution in modern commercial floriculture, the variety is likely lost.
