Variety description

The variety Möwe (synonyms Geoffrey Chadbund, Seagull) belongs to the Wädenswil series. The plant forms a vigorous bush with sturdy stems, reaching 1.5 meters in height in open field conditions. Initially, the variety was intended for container cultivation, but it has been successfully adapted for garden planting.
The plant belongs to the Lacecap group with saucer-shaped inflorescences consisting of central fertile flowers and a ring of large sterile marginal flowers with serrated edges. Flowering lasts from June to September. The color varies from red to purple; the variety is difficult to change to blue through the influence of acidic soils.
