The shrub is characterized by a compact habit and sturdy shoots, which ensure the maintenance of the rounded crown shape. The leaves of the plant are large, deep green, with a glossy surface and a serrated edge.

Flowering is prolonged, lasting from June to August-September. Inflorescences are spherical, reaching 20 cm in diameter. The color of the flowers varies from dark pink to deep blue depending on the soil pH level; salmon-pink shades with a greenish-white center are also encountered at the beginning of flowering.
