The inflorescences of the variety possess a unique sepal coloration that changes depending on soil acidity and aluminum content. The shrub forms a compact crown 120–160 cm wide and is distinguished by a moderate growth rate.

The plant prefers locations from partial shade to full sun with rich, well-drained soil and regular watering. The inflorescences persist on the shrub for a long time and are suitable for cutting and drying.

The variety is used in landscape design for forming hedges, mass plantings, as a specimen plant, and is also grown in containers.
