Variety description

The plant is a bushy deciduous shrub about 120 cm tall and up to 60 cm wide. A distinctive feature of the variety is its sturdy black stems, which contrast with the dark green leaves.

The variety forms large spherical inflorescences of blue or purple color; the flowering period covers early and late summer. The plant grows quickly and is distinguished by good foliage ornamental quality.

The hydrangea is recommended for solitary plantings, mixed borders, container cultivation, and use in floristry.
