The shrub reaches a height of 0.8–1.2 meters and has a hemispherical shape. Shoots are upright and rigid with short internodes. Leaves are broadly ovate, dark green with a serrated edge, larger than those of most cultivars of this species.

Inflorescences are hemispherical, large, 15–30 cm in diameter. They consist of many double sterile star-shaped flowers. Flower color varies from blue in acidic soils to pink in neutral and alkaline ones. Flowering is prolonged, from July until autumn.

The cultivar has a strong root system and high growth vigor, and is resistant to diseases and inflorescence damage. Intended for ornamental gardening, it is recommended to plant in a sunny or semi-shaded location in moist, well-drained soil.
