The variety is the result of a cross between Hydrangea chinensis and the Hydrangea macrophylla variety «Charming Blue Ring». It belongs to the group of winter or evergreen hydrangeas, does not enter a deep dormancy period, and is capable of growing and flowering year-round under certain temperature conditions.

The plant has large flowers, the diameter of which reaches 11 cm in the winter period. The ornamental bracts are characterized by serrated edges. The shape and size of the inflorescences can vary depending on the season. It possesses shade tolerance and is adapted for cultivation in controlled climate conditions.
