The Star-Line series is a group of Hydrangea macrophylla varieties bred by Franz Xaver Rampp. An example of a plant included in this line is the Mars variety, registered under the name Ramars.

The plants of the series are positioned as compact shrubs suitable for cultivation in open field and containers. The height and winter hardiness characteristics vary depending on the variety: for example, the Gemini variety reaches a height of 100–120 cm and possesses winter hardiness down to -23°C.

The flowering of hydrangeas of this series may include bicolored inflorescences, the shade of which changes depending on the soil acidity level.
