The variety forms a rounded, dense shrub up to 120–150 cm in height. The plant has dark green, broadly ovate leaves with serrated margins.

Flowering is abundant and prolonged, lasting from June to October. Large globular inflorescences have petals with a darker coloration at the edges, while the overall hue of the flowers depends on the soil pH level.

The plant's shoots are sturdy, capable of supporting the weight of large inflorescences. The variety is intended for solitary and group plantings, mixed borders, container cultivation, and cut flowers. The hardiness zone is USDA 7a–9b.
