Variety description

The plant is a shrub 0.9 to 1.5 m in height with dense ovate leaves of bright or dark green color. Inflorescences reach 20 cm in diameter. The variety is characterized by long flowering from June to October and potential remontancy, in which buds are formed on the shoots of the previous and current years.

The frost resistance of the variety corresponds to USDA zone 7 (down to -18°C); in the conditions of the central region, the plant requires covering. The background color of the petals changes depending on the pH level: in acidic soils they become blue-violet, in neutral or alkaline soils — pink. At the same time, the white border along the edge remains regardless of environmental conditions.
