The Hpopr013 variety, also known under the trademarks Candlelight or Candelabra, is a deciduous shrub with an upright growth habit. By 10 years of age, the plant reaches a height of about 1 meter, and up to 1.5 meters when mature. The shoots have a characteristic dark red or gray-purple color.
The plant has large dark green oval leaves. Conical inflorescences 20–30 cm long have a creamy-white or yellowish-green color at the beginning of flowering, which eventually changes to deep shades of pink. The flowering period lasts from July to September.
The variety is characterized by high frost resistance (down to -30 °C) and tolerance to urban conditions. Due to the strong shoots, the inflorescences are held vertically, which makes them suitable for use in cut flowers and floral arrangements. The plant is suitable for solitary and group plantings, as well as for container cultivation.
