Compact upright shrub with dense branching, reaching 0.6–1 m in height and width. The plant's shoots are strong and sturdy. The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program from open-pollinated seeds.
Panicle inflorescences are characterized by abundant flowering on current-year shoots. Upon opening, the flowers have a creamy-greenish tint, which changes to dark pink or red as they develop and with the onset of cool weather.
The plant is characterized by winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -40°C (USDA zones 3–8). The variety is suitable for cultivation in containers, forming borders, or low hedges.
