Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Hydrangea anomala subsp. petiolaris and Hydrangea seemannii. The plant is characterized by a moderate growth rate, reaching a height of up to 6 meters and a width of up to 4 meters by 10 years of age. The leaves are dark green, and the young shoots are distinguished by a copper-red hue.

Flowering occurs from May to August with white flowers gathered in flat inflorescences. The variety is semi-evergreen and is characterized by increased winter hardiness. For cultivation, semi-shaded areas with humous, well-drained soil free of excess lime are preferred.
