Variety description

The 'NCHA7' variety, known as Mauvette, is a compact shrub 75–90 cm tall with a dense rounded shape. Sturdy upright shoots hold spherical inflorescences 10–15 cm in diameter without lodging.

The flower color varies from dark pink and purplish-pink to raspberry-lilac, acquiring smoky or greenish tints over time. Flowering continues from early summer until frost on current-year shoots.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zone 3, down to –34°C) and disease resistance. The variety requires moderate soil moisture, is intolerant to drought, and is used in group plantings, borders, and container gardening.
