The plant belongs to ornamental-foliage and ornamental-flowering crops. It has upright fleshy stems and reaches a height of 0.2–0.3 meters. To form a dense and rounded bush shape, pinching and fertilizing in mid-June are recommended.

The variety is intended for ornamental gardening; group planting is preferred. The flowers are a source of nectar for bees in the autumn period. The plant is adapted to dry conditions and is characterized by high frost resistance corresponding to zone 4 (down to -34°C).
