The plant reaches 60–66 cm in height at the foliage and up to 81 cm including the flower stalks. It has a strong, dense clumping habit, resistant to lodging even in rainy conditions. Hardiness zones are 4–9.
Foliage has a steel-blue hue in spring, transitioning to gray-blue in summer, and to a rich chocolate-brown color by the time of flowering with dark chocolate stems. Large inflorescences have a light pink or creamy-brown hue.
The variety is resistant to powdery mildew, deer, and rabbits. Intended for ornamental gardening, including use in mixed borders, containers, group plantings, and drought-tolerant landscapes. It is a honey plant that attracts bees and butterflies.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
