Variety description

The variety is a variegated form derived from the 'Matrona' variety. The bush, 30–40 to 50–60 cm tall and 35–45 cm wide, is characterized by sturdy stems that maintain their shape without lodging. The large, broad, oval leaves are gray-green with a distinct creamy-white or yellowish margin; pinkish-purple veins may appear under sufficient light.

The light pink flowers are gathered in dense corymbose inflorescences. Flowering begins between July and September and continues until early October. The plant has high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, but is sensitive to soil waterlogging, which causes rot.

The variety is used in ornamental gardening for borders, flower beds, and rock gardens. To maintain the distinct variegation, it is recommended to grow it in open, sunny areas, as the decorative properties of the foliage decrease in the shade.
