Variety description

The plant is an upright bush 40–50 cm in height. The fleshy leaves with serrated margins change color from olive-green with a purple tint in spring to a deep chocolate-purple color in summer. Small star-shaped pink flowers are gathered in dense corymbose inflorescences at the tops of the stems.
Flowering occurs from July to August. The variety is resistant to lodging, leaf spot, and powdery mildew. The plant is thermophilic and drought-tolerant, prefers well-drained soils in full sun, and belongs to USDA hardiness zones 4–9.
