The plant forms dense clumps with numerous rosettes; stems have a pink-red color. Fleshy, oblong, blue-green leaves may develop a purple tint in the sun. Cream-yellow flowers are gathered in large corymbose inflorescences, which take on a soft reddish tone as seeds mature.
The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zones 4–9 and is characterized by good growth vigor. The crop is drought-tolerant, provided good drainage is ensured, and is resistant to deer damage. The variety is part of the Desert™ series and is intended for use in flower beds, mass plantings, and container gardening.
