The variety De Ciorani is a local population of Hyssopus officinalis. The plant possesses good growth qualities and is characterized by an average bush height of about 59.6 cm. It belongs to forms capable of having pink flower coloration.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -25…-30°C in the presence of snow cover, however, it exhibits sensitivity to late spring frosts. Hyssop is a perennial crop; it has no specific data regarding maturity group.

The variety is used as medicinal raw material, spice-aromatic additive, honey plant and ornamental plant. This population served as a genetic basis for the development of other breeding varieties, in particular, the variety Cătălin.
