The variety is a chance seedling derived from the variety Wisley Blue. The plant reaches a height of 7 to 20 cm and possesses narrow grassy foliage, which emits a specific garlic smell when damaged. The flowers are star-shaped, have a light pink or pinkish-lilac hue with a dark central stripe on the petals, and possess a light fragrance.
Flowering occurs in the early spring period from March to April, sometimes continuing until May. The plant is resistant to diseases and pests, and is well-suited for borders, rock gardens, container cultivation, and the creation of flower carpets. Due to its essential oil content, it can be used to repel nematodes in the plot.
