The variety is characterized by an early leaf bud break, as well as early male and female flowering. The shape of the lateral leaflets is described as medium-elliptic. The fruits are distinguished by a very high kernel percentage by weight relative to the total nut weight.

The variety often appears in comparative trials regarding reaction to bacterial blight caused by Xanthomonas campestris pv. juglandis. Publications lack data on its widespread commercial cultivation or lodging resistance; it is considered a genetic resource.
