The Corne tree variety is characterized by vigorous growth and is easy to train. The variety is distinguished by late bud break and flowering, which reduces the risk of damage from spring frosts, while fruit ripening occurs in the mid-season.
The fruits are of medium size, have a pleasant taste, fine texture, and sweet and juicy kernels, which can be difficult to extract from the shell in one piece. The variety shows good winter hardiness and low susceptibility to anthracnose.
The plant is self-fertile or partially self-fertile and can act as a pollinator for other walnut varieties.
