Variety description

The tree is medium-sized, with a dense spreading crown of round-pendulous shape, reaching a height of 13–15 meters at the age of 40 years. The vegetation period lasts about 150 days; fruit ripening occurs in the second to third ten-day period of September. The variety exhibits high winter hardiness and increased resistance to major diseases, including anthracnose, but is sensitive to drought.

Fruits weighing 10–13 g have a cylindrical or elliptical shape and a thin, easily crackable shell of whitish-gray or yellowish-brown color. The kernel yield is 48–51% of the fruit weight; the light-colored kernel is easily extracted whole. The flowering type is protogynous, requiring the presence of pollinator varieties. The variety bears fruit regularly and abundantly, forming clusters of 7–15 nuts in favorable years.
