The variety belongs to the terminal bearing category. The nuts are characterized by high quality and good flavor properties; about 80% of the nuts have a diameter of more than 32 mm. The variety has a high kernel percentage and is highly productive and stable in fruit bearing.

The growing season is medium, with flowering occurring in mid-season. The flowering type is protogynous, where female flowers open before male flowers. The tree is adapted to the ecological conditions of Romania and shows resistance to a number of diseases and pests, although susceptibility to bacterial blight and anthracnose is possible.

The variety was obtained by individual selection from local populations. It is suitable for commercial orchards, fresh consumption, and culinary use, and is also promising for organic cultivation.
