The variety belongs to the group of winter-hardy Carpathian walnuts. The plant is capable of tolerating temperatures below -30 °C. Buds develop relatively early, which creates a risk of damage from spring frosts, however, the trees demonstrate an ability to recover quickly after them.
The variety is characterized by lateral fruiting, in which fruits are formed on lateral shoots, which increases overall yield. The plant is characterized by the ability for apomixis — setting fruit without cross-pollination. The fruits are small to medium in size.
In the conditions of northern gardening regions, the variety is considered a promising material for expanding the boundaries of cultivation of the crop. At the same time, it is noted that, compared to some other varieties of this selection, the variety may have lower resistance to diseases.
