The variety belongs to the double-flowered Kalanchoe group. The plant possesses the typical traits of the species: fleshy leaves, compact form, and the ability to branch profusely.

The variety is exclusively a decorative pot crop. Due to its morphological features, it should be distinguished from Kalanchoe tomentosa, to which a similar trade name is erroneously assigned.
