The variety forms corymbose inflorescences consisting of single flowers of a dark purple shade with a diameter of 1–1.5 cm. The plant reaches a height of 10–20 cm.

The leaves have an elliptical, oval, or ovate shape with an entire or erose margin. The variety is used in ornamental floriculture as a flowering potted plant for interiors.
