The variety is intended for commercial use as a flowering pot plant. In breeding programs, it acted as a maternal form for the creation of new varieties, such as Fuego.

Breeding work for this group of plants is aimed at obtaining compact specimens with good branching, abundant flowering, and attractive flower and leaf coloration.
