Variety description

The plant forms a neat rosette of arcuately curved dark green leaves and sturdy flower stalks with dense spicate inflorescences. The tubular flowers change color from deep red-orange to bright orange or apricot shades.

The variety is intended for small gardens and container cultivation. Once established, the plant tolerates drought, heat, and wind, and is resistant to deer and rabbits. A key condition for overwintering is good soil drainage, as the variety is sensitive to waterlogging.
