Variety description

The plant is an herbaceous perennial reaching a height of 75–90 cm. The foliage is narrow, arching, and green or gray-green in color. The characteristic spike-like inflorescences have a gradient coloration: buds are bright red, and the opening flowers have creamy peach or yellowish shades.

The variety is characterized by an early-mid flowering period beginning in early or mid-summer, with the potential for repeat flowering. The plant is drought-tolerant once established, demonstrates resistance to Verticillium wilt, and is relatively resistant to damage by animals. USDA hardiness zones are 6–9.

It is used in ornamental gardening for borders, mixed borders, and container gardening. The inflorescences are suitable for cutting. The variety attracts pollinators such as hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.
