The plant belongs to the Batavia type and possesses a saturated red leaf color with a glossy surface. The leaf blade is dense and distinctly blistered. The plant habit is balanced, characterized by an upright growth type and a compact base.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew Bremia lactucae (races 29–41EU) and lettuce aphid Nasonovia ribisnigri (biotype 0). It also has intermediate resistance (IR) to Fusarium wilt Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lactucae (races 1 and 4). The crop is intended for cultivation in the open field.
