The plant forms a semi-open, upright leaf rosette. The leaves are long, serrated, and resemble oak-leaf lettuce in appearance. The texture of the leaves is crisp and succulent, resembling escarole.
The variety is early-maturing and suitable for multiple harvesting, as it regrows after cutting. It shows resistance to bolting and high temperatures.
Used fresh for preparing salads, and is also suitable for culinary processing, including steaming and stir-frying.
