The variety «Барбадос» is a mid-season leaf lettuce for open field cultivation. The period from germination to technical maturity is 54 days. The plant forms a semi-erect rosette of leaves approximately 30 cm in height and 28–32 cm in diameter. Large wrinkled leaves have a reddish hue and a delicate crispy texture; the mass of a single plant reaches 420 g.
The hybrid «Barbados F1» is a professional variety for which high resistance (HR) to tomato mosaic virus, leaf mold, Verticillium wilt, and Fusarium wilt is declared. A detailed morphological description of this hybrid is absent in the manufacturer's public publications.
