Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the Salanova type; when cut at the base of the rosette, it separates into multiple leaves of uniform size. The plant has a vertical, upright rosette shape with serrated, wavy leaves of deep red color. The average head weight is approximately 200 grams.

The vegetation period lasts from 40 to 60 days; the variety is resistant to bolting. The Knox technology slows the oxidation of leaf cut edges, increasing the shelf life of the produce. Due to the vertical rosette shape, the leaves do not come into contact with the soil, which contributes to crop cleanliness.

The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bl: 29–41EU), Fusarium wilt (Fol: 1, 4), and currant-lettuce aphid (Nr: 0). Intermediate resistance (IR) to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV: 1) has also been recorded.
